These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MECH AI (the "Service"), offered by MECH AI, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. AI output & automotive advice

MECH AI is an information tool, not a substitute for a qualified mechanic. The Service produces AI-generated content that may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions. Always verify with a licensed professional for any repair involving brakes, steering, airbags, fuel systems, or other safety systems.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid tiers (DIY, MECHANIC, SHOP PRO, SHOP MANAGER) are billed by the platform you subscribed through — Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe on web. Billing and cancellation are governed by that platform's terms.

4. Acceptable use

No reverse-engineering the Service or its AI models
No scraping, automated querying, or bulk export beyond your own data
No use in a way that violates the law or infringes others' rights

5. Intellectual property

Content you submit remains yours. Content we generate based on your inputs is licensed to you for your use with the Service. The MECH AI name, logos, and software are our property.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
